The Global History On The Ground research group will be holding a colloquium "building legal knowledge: reflections on the history of law in Angola" with the aim of exploring, discussing and reflecting on the historical evolution and development of the Angolan legal system. We seek to foster an interdisciplinary and collaborative dialogue between academics and legal professionals, creating an enriching space for the exchange of ideas, experiences and perspectives. Our intention is to critically analyse the present and project the future of Angolan law, taking into account the challenges and opportunities that have arisen from its origins to the contemporary challenges that shape the current legal scenario.
