Salamanca-Colloquium: Bruna Franceschini: Reflections on the Legal Subject in the Context of Latin American Colonialism

Bruna Franceschini will talk about her doctoral research project that aims to investigate specific aspects of the formative roots underlying the notion of the legal subject in the context of Latin American colonialism, mainly in Brazil. Her work is an attempt to associate the contributions of legal history with certain reflections in the philosophy of law concerning the recognition of the other 'as other' for the construction of legal intersubjectivity.

The colloquium will be held in English.
