January 20, 2016

Dr Harshan Kumarasingham (left), Researcher at the Institute with effect from February, organized a conference in order to launch his recent book The Road to Temple Trees - Sir Ivor Jennings and the Constitutional Development of Ceylon: Selected Writings in Colombo (Sri Lanka) on 19 December 2015, the 50th anniversary of Jennings’ death. Jennings, an eminent British constitutional lawyer, spent many years in Ceylon, as it then was.
