Bibliographie zur Rechtsgeschichtswissenschaft in der Berliner Republik (Bibliography to Scholarship in Legal History in the Berlin Republic)

No. 2017-03

The following bibliography originated from the work carried out for the contribution “Ein fruchtbarer Gärungsprozess? - Rechtsgeschichtswissenschaft in der Berliner Republik“, (A Fruitful Fermentation Process? - Scholarship in Legal History in the Berlin Republic), in: Thomas Duve/Stefan Ruppert, Rechtswissenschaft in der Berliner Republik, Frankfurt am Main: Suhrkamp (to be published January 2018). In the contribution to this volume, only the authors' surname and date of publication (of the respective title) are listed. The works referenced in the footnotes are also included in the bibliography.

The bibliography makes no claim to being exhaustive. It contains - within the scope of the article (see remark 3) - a selection of significant publications by those who went on to receive legal historical university chairs in the German-speaking countries in the late 1970s and 1980s, in particular, monographs; the published results of important joint endeavours, including larger third-party-funded projects; the academic qualification theses of legal historians who received professorships in the German-speaking countries after 1990.
