Thomas Duve elected member of the National Academy of the History of Argentina
On 8 August 2017, Thomas Duve was elected a corresponding member of the National Academy of the History of Argentina (Academia Nacional de la Historia de la República Argentina (ANH)). Founded in 1893, the academy is devoted to researching and publicising the history of Argentina and the Americas. The results of its scholarly work are disseminated through events, publications, a dedicated library as well as intercourse with institutions and individuals working in the same research field. As a corresponding member, Thomas Duve assumes advisory and representative duties, and he is entitled to contribute to the academy’s publications, give speeches and teach courses.
