Information for Researchers from abroad

In order to help our guests and employees from abroad to find their way through the red tape of German bureaucracy and to get familiar with German cultural and business habits the Max Planck Society offers two guides for international researchers. They will give you an idea of what to do in preparation for your departure for Germany and what formalities have to be dealt with shortly after your arrival. It provides useful information on everyday life in Germany and overview of Do's and Don'ts in dealing with colleagues at work.
