Maps by car
arriving from the north (from Kassel):
- A 5 to the Nordwestkreuz Frankfurt
arriving from the west (from Cologne):
- A 3 to the Wiesbadener Kreuz
then take the A 66 in direction Frankfurt
arriving from the east (from Würzburg):
- A3 to the Frankfurter Kreuz
then take the A 5 in direction Kassel to the Nordwestkreuz Frankfurt
arriving from the south (from Darmstadt):
- A 5 to the Nordwestkreuz Frankfurt
- take the A 66 in direction Frankfurt Miquelallee/Stadtmitte
- take the first exit for Hausen/Rödelheim
- continue about half a mile in direction Stadtmitte
- take the left lane at the second trafic light in order to cross the tram tracks and proceed in the opposite direction, which is direction Eschborn-Nordweststadt-Praunheim-Autobahn Weg
- after the Esso filling station take the first road to the right, Hausener Weg
by train
IC, EC, ICE to Frankfurt main station (Hauptbahnhof)
descend to the underground level, and take the S Bahn numbers S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6 or S8 to the Hauptwache
- ascend one level (still underground), then descend to the U6 in direction Heerstraße
- leave the U6 at the station Hausener Weg
- walking in the same direction as the departing tram, turn right across the street, turn left, then after 50 yards follow the curve to the right into Hausener Weg
- after 200 yards, the Institute is the large white building on your right
by air
On arrival at Frankfurt Airport, either take a taxi to the Institute, which will take about 15 minutes or take the undergound:
- Number S8 (not a main line train!) to the Hauptwache, then proceed as outlined above for arrival by train
if proceeding by car
- take the A3 to the Frankfurter Kreuz, then the A5 in direction Kassel to the Nordwestkreuz Frankfurt.
- Then proceed as outlined above for arrival by car.
