Scientific Advisory Board and a Board of Trustees

The Institute has a Scientific Advisory Board and a Board of Trustees. Whereas the function of Scientific Advisory Boards is to provide critical advice and support in the scientific sphere, the Boards of Trustees established by the majority of Max Planck Institutes constitute the interface between science and society.

Scientific Advisory Board

New appointments were made to the Scientific Advisory Board in 2010 and the Board will hold its constituent meeting in February 2011. After a second Director has been appointed, the Scientific Advisory Board will be enlarged with the inclusion of new members.
