Global Perspectives at Feria Internacional del Libro

November 24, 2017

On 2 December 2017, Osvaldo Rodolfo Moutin will present his recent monograph, which appeared as the fourth volume in the Institute’s own book series Global Perspectives on Legal History just last year, at the Guadalajara International Book Fair. The book treats judicature in Hispano-America in early modernity, focusing especially on the Third Mexican Provincial Council of 1585. Dr. Rafael Diego Fernández Sotelo, Dr. María Pilar Gutiérrez Lorenzo and Dr. Leopoldo López Valencia will join Dr. Moutin in discussing the book. The presentation is scheduled for 11 a.m. on the invitation of the Colegio de Michoacán.

Over the last three decades, the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL – Feria Internacional del Libro)  has risen to become the largest literature fair in the Spanish-speaking world, and it is now the second largest book fair worldwide after the Frankfurt Book Fair. It will take place from 25 November to 3 December 2017 in Guadalajara Mexico.
